EXTENSION OF BID SUBMISSION DEADLINE Request for Bids - Works (Two-envelope Bidding Process, Without Prequalification) Employer: Ministry of Water and Energy Project: Ethiopia Flood Management Project Contract title: Construction of Amibara Right side embankment works at Awash River Basin in two lots Country: Ethiopia Grant No.: IDA-E1240 RFB No: ET-MOWE-555057-CW-RFB The Ministry of Water and Energy hereby informs all interested bidders and the public that the bid submission deadline for the above-mentioned procurement, initially advertised for 22 October 2026 , has been extended in accordance with Addendum No. 1 to the Request for Bids. The procurement involves the construction of approximately 60 km of right-side flood protection embankment along the Awash River in the Amibara area of Afar Regional State, Middle Awash, comprising the following two lots: · Lot I: Amibara Right Bank Embankment Construction Works, Chainage 0+200 to 35+100. · Lot II: Amibara Right Bank Embankment Construction Works, Chainage 35+100 to 60+000. The revised deadline for submission of bids is 12 November 2026 at 2:00 P.M.

Addis Ababa Local Time . The public opening of the Technical Parts of bids will take place on the same date at 2:30 P.M. Addis Ababa Local Time , or immediately after the deadline for bid submission. All other provisions, requirements, and conditions of the issued Request for Bids remain unchanged, except as expressly amended under Addendum No.
